Summit County Children Services (a not-for-profit agency) selected Bark at the Moon as their agency to develop two TV, radio and print ads that would reach out to the community in an effort to encourage individuals to become foster-to-adopt parents. With grant dollars being tight, it was important to produce these spots professionally, but also cost effectively. To achieve this, we used in-studio green screen technology to digitally impose the environments around the actors and a single voiceover talent. During script and storyboard development, our objective was to connect with potential foster to adopt parents on an emotional level. We also believed it was imperative to communicate how important emotional connections through foster parenting are for these young children.
